Strategies for dieting
   
In the Czech Republic, 66% of the men and 54% of the women are overweight, while 16% of the men and 20% of the women are obese. These figures rank the Czechs among the fattest nations in Europe.
   

The golden rule for successful weight loss recommends: eat 4 – 5 smaller portions during the day, preferably at intervals of 2.5 – 3 hours. Never skip breakfast! Particularly important is adequate liquid intake; the human body should consume at least two to three litres of unsweetened liquids per day (natural teas, spring water such as "AQUILA"). Menus should be diversified, so that dieters will be satisfied by their food.

For your body to make the correct use of the nutrients from food, it is necessary to eat in regular time cycles. The best method is smaller portions every 4 to 5 hours, rather than one large portion in the evening. In the event of extreme hunger, it is good to take, in between the regular small meals, three tablets of pineapple with a green-tea extract. A hungry body has a higher "metabolic threshold" for saving the fats that it did not burn for energy. If you are feeling tired and over-worked, it is good to start the purification herbal treatment Metabolik. This method corrects the over-taxed material exchange. The drinking regimen should include 2 litres of fluids (unsweetened herbal tea, spring water such as "AQUILA") throughout the day.

What should I do about dry skin that cracks and itches? I often find that my neck reddens and gradually drying blisters appear.

This is what is known as an atopic skin inflammation, or eczema, which is often hereditary. However, in around 30% of cases, it could be caused by food allergies (to cow’s milk, eggs, nuts, or even dust, etc.) In such cases, the skin of the afflicted is often attacked by golden staphylococcus. What is recommended is not completely drying the skin after bathing, but using a moisturiser. Particularly suitable are hydration creams that contain Karlovy Vary mineral waters; Revitalin BT and UVA/B filters with a 20-hour protective effect. In addition, wear only cotton-fibre clothing.

What should I drink to chase away thirst?
   
What should I drink to chase away thirst, and how can I overcome my taste for sweets? I am afraid of contracting diabetes.

In the choice of fluids, from this standpoint the best choices are drinking or spring water, e.g. AQUILA, and unsweetened herbal tea. It is hard to deny a taste for chocolates and cakes, but the situation can be ameliorated through the use of ChocoHit, which has the taste but without the adverse effects of sweets. This has also proved useful in weight reduction for diabetics of the 2nd type (non-insulin-dependent).

The skin on my face is very greasy
   
The skin on my face is very greasy. Even though I wash it with soap and water, cleanse it with skin freshener and use anti-acne creams, I still cannot get rid of the grease.

Before sleep, it is recommended to cleanse the skin. Use a cleansing foaming gel containing spring water (Aquila aqualinea), panthenol, avocado oil, allantoin and a chamomile extract. From time to time, it is necessary to perform deep skin cleansing to remove dead skin cells. This should be performed with a peeling mask of the same class.

Sufficient quantities (at times even a surplus) of water are necessary after finishing demanding physical activity. Athletes should count on consuming a total daily volume of up to five litres of fluids (optimal choices are light mineral waters such as "AQUILA"). Insufficient fluid intake significantly delays regeneration, and should there be an acute loss during the course of the exertion; there is the danger of overheating or collapse. An essential problem is presented by the opposite extreme, i.e. the deliberate over-consumption of water or sports drinks. If, during the course of exertion, more than 0.5 litres of any liquid (including sports drinks) at a time is consumed, there is the threat of causing a brain swelling.
