In the inserted exhibition slalom, which was a part of 1999 Mattoni
Canoe, there was a competition between Lukáš Pollert and Michal
Martikan for the first place, as it was during the Olympic Games
in Atlanta. |

The greatest support of Czech canoeists in the competitions within
the 2000 Mattoni Canoe World Cup in Karlovy Vary was especially
Michaela Strnadová, who won both the Saturday sprint as well as
the Sunday racing, thus securing two most valuable metals for the
Czech Republic. |

The winners of the Sunday competition of the 2000 Mattoni Canoe
World Cup in Category C2 were Peček-Rauš of Croatia, the second
place was taken by the pair of Simon-Haas of Germany. |

Very attractive for the audience, the inserted competition in Eskimo
turns that traditionally takes place within Mattoni Canoe in special
pools in front of the Thermal hotel. |

The good mood during 1999 Mattoni Canoe was the task of one of the
most successful Czech showmen of the recent years, Petr Novotný

match within which our "golden" hockey team from Nagano played against
